Xiaomi Mi 10 launched in China – on its way to Europe

Chinese mobile giant Xiaomi has introduced its two new 5G mobiles, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.

Originally launched globally during MWC in Barcelona

Both mobiles are powered by each Snapdragon 865 processor and have 12 Gb LPDDR RAM. The operating system is Xiaomi’s own Android 10-based Miui 11. 

The screen of the mobiles is a 6.67-inch AMOLED with full HD plus resolution, 90Hz image updating, and a 120Hz motion detection.

The Xiaomi Mi 10’s battery is a 4,780mAh with 30 watts fast charge while the Mi 10 Pro has a 4,500mAh battery with 50 watts fast charge. Both mobiles support wifi 6 and Bluetooth 6.1 as well as dual-mode 5G.

In terms of camera setup, the Xiaomi Mi 10 has a 20-megapixel selfie camera, a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel wide-angle and two 2 megapixel shooters.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro features a 20-megapixel selfie camera, a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel short telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel long telephoto lens, and a 20-megapixel wide-angle lens. Both mobiles can also record video in 8k resolution.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will start selling on February 14 in China. Price is set from 3999 yuan, corresponding to about € 528.

Android Central writes that both mobiles were expected to be showcased in Barcelona on February 23, but due to the MWC 2020 set, Xiaomi now says that they will hold their own event at a later date.
